Born in Gateshead, England, Alex has always had a passion for gaming, film and TV. He is a nerd for extended universes (such as those of Star Wars) and in his spare time, enjoys playing lots of RTS games such as Starcraft and Stellaris.

He's married to Maggie (shocker!) and now lives with her in Glasgow, Scotland.

Born in the Czech Republic (still refusing to accept 'Czechia' as a thing), Maggie travelled the world before meeting Alex at University.

Not fully unlocking her geek potential yet, she enjoyed the Star Trek TV shows and Tomb Raider games (before realising this does, in fact, qualify her as a geek).

She is also the reason they moved to Glasgow, Scotland. And is currently carrying Jellybean.
